Our technicians are trained and licensed by lifeboat and davit manufacturers under their established certification programs to carry out services on the manufacturers' behalf in Singapore and neighboring countries. The manufacturers that we partner with, are market leaders in the industry; they have been in manufacturing lifeboats and davits for decades and are also one of the most popular lifeboat and davit brands in the market today.
As of 1st January 2020, IMO Resolution MSC. 402(96) was made mandatory and emphasis is placed on the personnel training, knowledge transfer (such as update to technical documents, equipment upgrade) and availability of critical spare parts and/or special tools. All of which, are easily satisfied by a Service Company with close cooperation with the lifeboat, rescue boat, release gear and launching appliance (davit) manufacturers.
N&P Maritime strongly believes specialization to each Make and Type is the key to improving Service Personnel's expertise which in turn will reduce incidents related to lifeboats, davits and release gears. Manufacturers also release regular technical notices, guides and recent incidents (and their rectifications) to their approved service stations. Therefore, customers may count on us to service their equipment based on manufacturer's guidance.
